My Soul's Song

I had Wierd Al's song "The White Stuff" a parady of The Back Street Boys song "The Right Stuff" stuck in my head. Since it was playing continuously, I decieded to give the tune that was spinning in my mind better words. It has been said, if you don't like the record that's playing change the song. So, I did.

God's Love

First I tried life on my own.
Fell flat on my face.
Now I ask for all God’s help.
Fill me with your grace.

He answers quickly,
To every bended knee.
God filled my heart ,
With the peace that’s meant to be.

I have God’s Love,
In the center of my soul.
I’m filling with Divine Love.
The most important thing I know.

The door’s not really closed.
Just a jar.
God’s right here,
Never been afar.

When I silence myself,
And believe dearly,
I am assured,
God will lead me clearly.

I have God’s Love,
In the center of my soul.
I’m filling with Divine Love
The most important thing I know.

Ego has no place,
In the world I seek.
I have to let go,
To be the best I can be.

Jesus showed the way.
He told.
Ask and you shall receive,
Believing in your goal.

I have God’s Love,
In the center of my soul,
I’m filling with Divine Love
The most important thing I know.

With God’s Love,
Peace is my reality.
Filled with his wisdom,
I see far beyond me.

Let God open his world,
To each and all of you.
Ask for his guidance
And you will live anew.

Be filled with God’s Love.
In the center of your soul.
Ask for Divine Love.
It’s the most important thing you’ll know.

Inquire within,
Order up,
See the good around you,
And drink in his love.

Move forward,
Take God’s lead.
See what you want.
Have what you need.

Be filled with God’s Love.
In the center of your soul.
Ask for Divine Love.
It’s the most important thing you’ll know.

All I need is
What I have
And who he is
Is who I AM,

Today, tomorrow
and eternity,
God’s Divine Love
is my destiny.

I have God’s Love,
In the center of my soul.
I have Divine Love.
It’s the most important thing I know.
