I have such good help

I don't have to go "look it up" and read somewhere what to do in any moment of my life. Why? Because I have such amazing help already online. When I stay connected to source I get all the help I ask for. Oh yes, and I ask for help constantly and I ask knowing I will receive.

From whom? My helpers. My team. My family of spiritual beings with soul standings higher than my own. They lift me up. They guide me. Nameless they remain to me. What's in a name anyway? All I know is that it is all love. The purest and the highest. Within my reach. At hand. Ready to help. All they ask from me is a grateful heart.

It pleases them so to know that I want their help, to know that I believe. That I believe in better. That I can see and know Good which is God.

These helpers can not and do not make me do a thing, but they can pave the way. The way for me and my dreams. They remind me. They remind me of my goals. They remind me of my purpose. They prepare and present golden opportunities for me to act. To act in accord with the direction of my dreams.

Do I see them? No, not yet. Maybe someday I will. When I want to. I have never asked.

I have learned from reading the writings of others about spiritual guides that these guides have rules to follow when it comes to their interaction with mankind. They can not interfere in our lives or act against our will. These "special forces" love us and watch over us and want so much to be of assistance. We have been told "Ask and you shall receive." I believe this is part of that truth.

We only get what we ask for.
Ask for more.
Ask for better.
Ask for help.
And give thanks for all.

Blessings - Debra Clemente

My Thoughts

The true movers and shakers of this world have all had to have a deeper connection with the POWER – THE ONE which is in all and thus available to all. Amazing feats of science, art, music and other innovations never came from anyone’s little mind. They originate in DIVINE MIND, whether the individual is aware of this fact or not.

When an individual opens oneself to SOURCE as a free flowing conduit, the amazing is possible. But when one begins to understand the source of the POWER and the laws that guide and direct it, a miraculous life is lived.

Living somewhere between the two, between the ecstasy of creative expression and the agony of real life is the cycle that has caused many a creative genius to insanity! There seems to be no midpoint here. A creative genius either plays the part of martyr or saint, depending on his own self-realization, as a result of soul searching.

As an artist, a creative genius, I can tell the world that one of my kind has plenty of time to soul search, to contemplate. We live in our own little worlds of our imaginations. Trying our best to keep up with the flow of new ideas. Lot’s of time in solitude is necessary to create. We ponder and pause. Stepping back from the rush of the world.

I know for myself that for many years the only time I felt “whole” was when I was painting. I now understand that being “in the flow” was the reason, the reason for my joy, the reason for my feelings of health and peace.

At one time I told my father that all I really wanted to do was paint. Painting was my drug, my escape. I still have my painting but now I have more, so much more. I have a full life of joy. The same flow that I once only knew while standing at my easel now directs my entire life. The more I understand it, the more I am comfortable to release my grip on life and instead go with the flow.

WILL POWER

Only for a moment.

The gift of will power is given only to humans. Dog's don't have it. Think about it. Do you think a dog who resists snapping up a table scrap does such by any element of self control? No way! It's all a matter of conditioning and training.

Will power goes so very far beyond the common concept of self control. Not long ago I only understood the term to mean the ability to control one's own desires. The power to resist temptations of sensual pleasure. That concept of will power only goes so far and often seems quite unlike a power source but a constant battle. One battle of the will after another. Even within one's own being.

I am now coming to the understanding that each of our own wills is our source of power. A very real source of power that works as simply this statement. Whatever one wills one creates. That power is given to each of us by our creator. It's a power of choice.

We each have the power to choose our own way or God's way. It never has been a matter of a select few being God's chosen people. God has already chosen each of us by the mere fact of our creation and he created each of us with the power of choice. The power to recongnise choices and choose.

God does not force his will upon us. He is always here waiting to be found, acknowledged and chosen. It feels very special to be chosen doesn't it? It is. God wants to be chosen as well. God wants his love to be our source of power. He wants to pour his Divine Love into our very being. So that each of his children are filled with his power and have a radiant joy for life. Overflowing with his love. Spilling Divine Love out of them wherever they go and upon whomever they meet.

This Divine Love is God's gift available to each repentant heart, each selfless soul who thirsts for closeness to the father, who falls onto his knees surrendering his own will to God asking for God and his Divine Love to come into his heart-soul-spirit and fill his very being.

God is always here, always connected to each of us. It's like a direct phone line where God is the operator always on call. He's always online waiting to assist. Live Chat. It's up to each of us to pick up the phone, answer the call, ask for direction. We have to say that we want to be connected. We have to ask for help. We have to admit we can't do it alone. Then we need to shut up. Be quiet. Be still and listen. Listen to the quiet still voice within. We have to shut out the world and open to the universe. The abundant universe of possibility. We have to accept God's guidance and act only when inspired. Inspired action is following God's will given from within. It's a knowing, an urge. Impromptu action that just feels right. Without thought, you feel your way. Feel the good. Feel God. Feel God's will become your will.

When one's will is according to God's will good is created for all. When one truly surrenders his own will to God and asks that God work through him, "Thy will be done", life flows wonderfully. Gone is the constant inner battle of controlling one's own will.

The right path is shown. Daily bread is given. Green pastures appear. Trespasses are not counted. No evil is feared. God's name is hallowed. Love flows freely. Temptation ceases to exist. Thy kingdom comes. Thy will is done.

I pray again today that Thy will be done through me on earth as it is in heaven. So be it.

Random Acts of Culture

Imagine you went shopping on Saturday, October 30th of this year- to Macy's in Philadelphia - the once magnificent Wanamaker's Department Store with its vast pipe organ at the store's "center court."    You are a bit surprised to see decorations for Christmas and in the midst of your shopping you hear the music from the organ.  Then suddenly you get hit with this "random act of culture."  Catch the expressions and sense of spontaneous worship. last Saturday - to Macy's in Philadelphia - the once magnificent Wanamaker's Department Store with its vast pipe organ at the store's "center court."    You are a bit surprised to see decorations for Christmas and in the midst of your shopping you hear the music from the organ.  Then suddenly you get hit with this "random act of culture."  Catch the expressions and sense of spontaneous worship.

Divine Love

By: Dr Emmet Fox (1886-1951)

My soul is filled with Divine Love,
I am surrounded by Divine Love.
I radiate Love and Peace to the whole world.
I have conscious Divine Love.
God is Love, and there is nothing in existence but God and His Self-expression.
All men are expressions of Divine Love; therefore, I can meet with nothing but the expressions of Divine Love.
Nothing ever takes place but the Self-expressing of Divine Love.
All this is true now.
This is the actual case, the actual state of affairs.
I do not have to try to bring this about, but I observe it already in being now.
Divine Love is the actual nature of Being.
There is only Divine Love, and I know this.
I perfectly understand what Divine Love is.
I have conscious realization of Divine Love.
The Love of God burns in me for all humanity.
I am a lamp of God, radiating Divine Love to all whom I meet, to all whom I think of.
I forgive everything that can possibly need forgiveness-positively everything.
Divine Love fills my heart, and all is well.
I now radiate Love to the whole universe, excluding no one.
I experience Divine Love.
I demonstrate Divine Love.
I thank God for this.

This may mean that we need to silence these other “voices” by recognizing that God’s goodness is the only message we want to receive, and it is the only one that’s relevant to our situation. As we silence the material senses, we will be better able to hear God’s guidance and to see His goodness at work in our lives.

True to me

When something has been true of my experience and I find myself thinking about it and relating it to my present state and the future,
I stop and ask myself if this is what I want my new experience to be. If not, I stop again and pause. This time realizing that at that moment I hold immense power in my hands, within my being.

Just be cause something was, doesn't mean it is or has to be. I have the power within me to change my experience. I can rethink the situation by thinking what I want my experience to be. I AM, with the power of THE WORD, the point of power for my life.

Youth - A state of mind

Debra laughs with life.

"YOUTH" by Samuel Ullman

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing child-like appetite of what's next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long are you young.

When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at twenty, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at eighty.

For years, Samuel Ullman (1840-1924) and his prose poem "Youth" have been known and admired by the Japanese.  "Youth"was a favorite poem of General Douglas MacArthur. The poem was on the wall of  MacArthur's office in Tokyo when he became Supreme Allied Commander in Japan. In addition, he often quoted from the poem in his speeches, leading to it becoming better known in Japan than in the United States. However, both the man and his work are largely unknown in the United States, even in Birmingham where he spent the last forty years of his life in service to the community as a businessman, poet, and humanitarian.

The Garden of God's Love

The garden of
Love
is green without
limit
and yields many
fruits
other than sorrow
and joy.
Love is beyond either
condition:
without spring,
without autumn,
it is always fresh.

Sufi love poem

Sufism began only a century or so after Mohammed's death. The Sufis were alarmed by the materialism represented by the silks and satins of the sultans and other wealthy patrons of Islam. Thus they emphasized spiritual purity by wearing coarse wool clothing (Ar. suf) and sought direct contact with God through contemplation and mystical encounter.  They followed spiritual leaders (sheikhs) who taught methods for mysticism and ecstasy. This path resembles that of ascetic monks in the Christian world except that Sufis normally marry and do not retreat to remote monestaries.

Sure to make you smile.

This video should make you smile. It was made in the Antwerp , Belgium Central (Train) Station on the 23rd of March 2009.
. . . with no warning to the passengers passing through the station, at 08:00 am a recording of Julie Andrews singing 'Do, Re, Mi' begins to play on the public address system.
As the bemused passengers watch in amazement, some 200 dancers begin to appear from the crowd and station entrances.
They created this amazing stunt with just two rehearsals!
Enjoy!

Here's a link I found to more information about the video. http://www.squidoo.com/sound-of-music-train-station-antwerp

how life is supposed to work

The following wondrous story arrived in my in-box this morning from Bob Proctor's Insight of the Day. Today, Bob shared a story told by Phil Evans of Australia. It's a tale that many might label too good to be true. But why? Why have we believed that such wonderful ways can not be our truth. I love this story. I believe it's an illustration of how life is supposed to work.

The Art of Intuitive Action

About 10 years ago my daughter was about 2500 kilometers from Newcastle, and rang me one day sobbing because of an emotional trauma she was facing. She was about 20, and in a town known as Ayrlie Beach in Northern Queensland. I asked her what it was that she needed most in that moment, and she replied that she needed support, and my arms around her would be the best thing that she could hope for! Because I couldn't do that in that exact moment, I asked her to describe her surroundings to me (I have absolutely no idea 'why', at the time), and said that if she hadn't heard from me in about 30 minutes to ring me back. I asked her to stay exactly where she was. I had no idea how I was going to ring her back, by the way, as she was calling from a public phone booth (one of three), near a little park, surrounded by a few shops in the main street of Ayrlie Beach.

OK then, after hanging up the phone, I just sat for a few seconds. After only a very short time a phone number 'jumped into my head', and even though I recognized it, it wasn't a commonly used number of mine. I rang the number and it was a woman who had bought a house from me about 18 months previously, when I was working in Real Estate. My exact words to her were these, "Oh, it's you Liz, I have no idea why I'm calling you in particular, but my daughter is stranded in Ayrlie Beach, and I just got the thought to ring you and tell you that. Have you any idea why?"

"It could be because my Son lives there," says Liz.

"Oh really, that's got to be it," I said. "Do you mind giving me his phone number Liz?"

"Of course not, and I can only hope that he can be of some help!"

Liz gave me his mobile number and I rang straight away (only about 5 minutes have passed since telling my daughter that somehow I'd get her help). Fortunately, he answered immediately, and I told him the story of who I was, and why I'd rung.

I gave him the description of my daughter; where she was standing; and that she needed emotional support if he could find it in his heart to help out so unexpectedly like this. "Oh yes, I can see her," he said..."she's right across the street from where I'm standing!" He walked across the street and told my daughter that her Dad had sent him!

Imagine that...she almost fainted: only about 10 minutes had passed since she had rung me! I believe that she said something like this, "Wow, Dad's getting pretty good at this stuff!" She was taken to a safe house; nurtured and supported; given food and a bed for a couple nights; and also given money to get herself to where she needed to be.

That's intuition at it's best!

It may save a life or two if people can embrace the use of intuition, and learn to trust in it.

Remember: "What others do or say is their stuff; how we react, or not, is our stuff!"

AS I OPEN

"All that Glitters" by Debra Clemente

As I open to the awareness of God within, I am dazzled and delighted.

The gift God gives of the in pouring of his Divine Love erases all temptations. No longer do I have to fight to stay on God's narrow path. God's path is all that is available. It's like God is the auto-pilot of my life.

THE POWER THAT BE, LIVES WITHIN ME.

Thou art not called to fear and tremble..

"Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father." Romans 8:15.

John Wesley describes three states of being in his writing entitled The Spirit of Bondage and of Adoption, Rom 8:15.  from which I have excerpted below. Wesley urges all to awaken from their natural state of soul sleep and move out of the state bondage by fear to the awakened state of living under grace and having their being in joy and love through total faith in God .

The first state of mind is in Scripture termed a "natural man:" This the Scripture represents as a state of sleep: The voice of God to him is, "Awake thou that sleepest." For his soul is in a deep sleep. His spiritual senses are not awake; They discern neither spiritual good nor evil. The eyes of his understanding are closed; They are sealed together, and see not. Clouds and darkness continually rest upon them; for he lies in the valley of the shadow of death. Hence having no inlets for the knowledge of spiritual things, all the avenues of his soul being shut up, he is in gross, stupid ignorance of whatever he is most concerned to know. He is utterly ignorant of God, knowing nothing concerning him as he ought to know. He is totally a stranger to the law of God, as to its true, inward, spiritual meaning. He has no conception of that evangelical holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord; nor of the happiness which they only find whose "life is hid with Christ in God."

The second state Wesley refers to if one who is under the spirit of bondage and fear, is sometimes said to be "under the law:" The spirit of bondage and fear is widely distant from this loving Spirit of adoption: Those who are influenced only by slavish fear, cannot be termed "the sons of God;" yet some of them may be styled his servants, and are "not far from the kingdom of heaven." But it is to be feared, the bulk of mankind, yea, of what is called the Christian world, have not attained even this; but are still afar off, "neither is God in all their thoughts." A few names may be found of those who love God; a few more there are that fear him; but the greater part have neither the fear of God before their eyes, nor the love of God in their hearts.

But one who has exchanged the spirit of fear for the Spirit of love, is properly said to be "under grace." Perhaps most of you, who, by the mercy of God, now partake of a better spirit, may remember the time when ye were as they, when ye were under the same condemnation. But at first ye knew it not, though ye were wallowing daily in your sins and in your blood; till, in due time, ye "received the spirit of fear;" (ye received, for this also is the gift of God;) and afterwards, fear vanished away, and the Spirit of love filled your hearts.

This whole struggle of one who is "under the law," under the "spirit of fear and bondage," is beautifully described by the Apostle Paul, speaking in the person of an awakened man. "I," saith he, "was alive without the law once:" (Verse 9:) I had much life, wisdom, strength, and virtue; so I thought: "But, when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died:" When the commandment, in its spiritual meaning, came to my heart, with the power of God, my inbred sin was stirred up, fretted, inflamed, and all my virtue died away.

One who is "under grace", them it is that this miserable bondage ends, and he is no more "under the law, but under grace." This state is the state of one who has found grace or favour in the sight of God,  the Father, and who has the grace or power of the Holy Ghost, reigning in his heart; who has received, in the language of the Apostle, the "Spirit of adoption, whereby" he now cries, "Abba, Father!"

"Examine yourselves, therefore," not only whether ye are sincere, but "whether ye be in the faith." Examine narrowly, (for it imports you much,) what is the ruling principle in your soul! Is it the love of God? Is it the fear of God? Or is it neither one nor the other? Is it not rather the love of the world? the love of pleasure, or gain? of ease, or reputation?
Beware, then, thou who art called by the name of Christ, that thou come not short of the mark of thy high calling. Beware thou rest, not, either in a natural state with too many that are accounted good Christians; or in a legal state, wherein those who are highly esteemed of men are generally content to live and die. Nay, but God hath prepared better things for thee, if thou follow on till thou attain. Thou art not called to fear and tremble like devils; but to rejoice and love, like the angels of God.
