It’s a matter of Intention

It was my intention to call Suzette, as I had a message to call her back, but Suzette didn’t answer my call. Whoever answered didn’t know Suzette or even a Suzette. I had the wrong number. Maybe I wrote it down wrong. Maybe I punched an incorrect digit. One little number off and no connection, no communication, zilch. That’s way man’s technology works. From phone numbers to web addresses you have to have it exactly right or you won’t make the connection intended.

Here’s the good news: God understands our intentions even when we are not perfect communicators.

Case in point: This Blog. When I was looking for a blog domain name I found that DEVINE IDEAS was available. Yea, perfect that’s it. So up until 2 days ago that has been the name and spelling of any reference to DIVINE on this site. So have you caught it now? I had been misspelling DIVINE the whole time. I have passed this link on to friends a few times wanting to share my writings but never had a heads up that I screwed up. But that is really not the point here. What is the point is that God didn’t care either. DIVINE LOVE is the theme here and I am continually asking God for more DIVINE LOVE to fill my life. God wasn’t the least bit deterred by my spelling error, whether it was in this blog or in my head. My life confirms this for I have been deeply blessed in amazing ways since I have begun to pray for DEVINE LOVE / DIVINE LOVE in earnest.

Knowing this truth opened another truth unto to me. God is so pleased for every effort we make to commune with him that he will respond to anything as long as the intention is one of purity and longing for understanding. God,  Father, Divine Feminine, Maker, Divine Source, Divine Love, The Great I AM, Lord, Christ, Jesus, Jehovah, Creator of the Universe, Almighty, Source of All, Allah, Teacher, Truth, Christ Consciousness, Wisdom, Word, True Light, Master - No matter the name or our individual understanding we can all connect to the same most wonderful source of all good.

I made it up. I haven’t used it much lately. Haven’t had the need to but when I conceived of this phrase a year ago last spring became my mantra. That means I repeated it a lot and it gave a peace and direction to my life.

Whenever my mind would wander to selfish thoughts I quickly turned the tables with my sing song rendition of my personal jingle. It’s helped me, help myself, think beyond myself.

Be not afraid

We are commanded NOT TO FEAR, instead we are TO HAVE FAITH. So what does that really mean? How on earth can one live it?

It’s easy to tell someone to have no fear but until one has received the spiritual blessing God offers to all it really is an impossibility. With God all things are possible. This used to be just words to me but no longer. I now know and live in this wondrous God reality.

So how can one begin to gain faith and lose fear? By asking for God’s love to fill your heart and soul. Do this again and again in earnest. Each time you ask, you will receive. Bit by bit more and more of God’s Divine love will download into your heart/soul. Once you taste of this delicious love you will yearn for more. God planned it that way.

As you grow in this purest and highest love you will find yourself morphing into a new being and find yourself making the “right choices” with the greatest of ease. No longer will the commandments seem like unobtainable laws for a long gone biblical generation. They will be the only way you can be and you will desire no other. It won’t even be an effort. You will surprise then delight yourself.

When one rises to this level of being true wisdom replaces and exceeds any worldly physical knowledge. With that wisdom comes peace of mind.  A spirit filled with the Peace and Love of God has no room or need for fear. 

I’m speaking from experience here. These few words offered only point to edge of what is possible. Just keep in mind that my mind has changed as my heart has changed. If you know me and have known me you will see and feel this. My light shines.

This book came into the Harvard Library in 1888, and is now available in Google Books as a PDF.

In my search for truth I continually happen upon writings which today are cataloged as “new age thought” yet the words have been written by men and women whom lived on earth ages before this one. This evening I was introduced to the words of Friedrich Max Muller (1823-1900) a German Sanskritist who spent most of his working life as professor of comparative philology at Oxford.

I believe

In the name of religion a multitude of sins have been committed. These acts where not of God. For God is All Good.

Selfish acts are of man. Selfless acts are Acts of God.

God is Divine Love, the highest power one can know.

Man needs no mediator between himself and Divine Love which is God. God is always online, it is up to Man to connect with God.

God gave Man free will. Free will to choose his path. God does not “force his hand” but holds it readily open for each of us to accept and grasp.

God wants for his own to come home and ask for his Divine Love to fill their hearts and souls so full that there is room for no other. God will provide daily blessings to those that humble themselves and come to God with pleading hearts asking to be filled with Divine Love.

Sathya Sai Baba

So I just found him. First I found his words. They met my heart. Then I saw his image. A distinctive profile highlighted by the halo effect of a huge orb of what I think of as a 70’s afro. So who is this guy? He is Sathya Sai Baba and he is one of us, here to remind each of us that we are all one.

Sathya Sai Baba encourages us to recognize who we are. We are not these minds. We are not these bodies. We are the eternal spirit that temporarily occupies these minds and bodies. We can appreciate and become who we really are by turning inward with faith in God and an intense yearning to know Him. Our conscience is a reflection of the eternal spirit. Sathya Sai Baba tells us that our conscience is our master. When we follow our conscience, our thoughts, words, and deeds will be noble and consistent. Spirituality is having the courage and determination to follow our conscience in all things and at all times. In doing so, we recognize that we are all united in God. We are bound together by divine love.

The capacity to overcome the Gunas (tendencies) of Prakriti (Nature) is not inherent in any one; it comes to one with the Grace of the Lord. And that Grace is to be won by Japa (Repetition of God’s Name) and Dhyana (Meditation). The truth has to be experienced, in order that it might not slip away from consciousness; and the discipline needed for this is also Japa and Dhyana.
