This may mean that we need to silence these other “voices” by recognizing that God’s goodness is the only message we want to receive, and it is the only one that’s relevant to our situation. As we silence the material senses, we will be better able to hear God’s guidance and to see His goodness at work in our lives.

Spiritual Exercises

The spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius.

Have you heard of this before? I had not until recently, as a result of one of my deep searches for Truth. It appears to me that the Catholic Church has held these writings in high regard but thought the messages contained were of only of service to the priestly not the masses. I believe there in contains much for all. Certainly food for all. Food for thought.

Worth exploring

On my quest for truth, I am continually being made aware of the illuminated visions and paths of so many that came before me here on earth. Many mystic traditions, hidden, now revealed anew.

The similarities are striking. The stories told reverberate the same Truth. So many ask how can this be? Did these sages of old learn this wisdom from one another? Most likely not as vast expanses of time, land, and water separate these wisdom traditions. Many of which have been lost for ages. Hidden then lost. Appearing again to new eyes and new hearts, for those with ears to hear and eyes to see. 

So what then could be their common source? I say, THE SOURCE OF ALL.

My most recent interest of inquiry is the Kabbalah, the mystic tradition of Judaism. Kabbalah states that the Creator created all the worlds simultaneously, including our world, and we human beings have to use Kabbalah in our world, the finite material world. In order to further advance our understanding of the wisdom of Kabbalah, we need to lift our mind's eye above the horizon of our material world. Kabbalah clarifies our perception of reality. Below I have linked the book, The Kabbalah - The Mystic Quest in Judaism By Christian David Ginsburg, published in 1865, which I am just beginning to read in an attempt to grasp the spiritual insights therein.

coincidence = synchronicity

What a coincidence.
What about those seemingly random concurrently occurring events?
Are they really random?
Nope, not at all.
LIFE is so much more than a series of random acts and events. 
There exists a greater unseen force working behind the scene. 
As I have grown an understanding of the value of such phenomena,
I pay careful attention to each occurrence which comes to my awareness.
The words of others which follow best explain my own current understanding.
Carl Jung called these meaningful coincidences in seemingly random events synchronicity.

 Synchronicity is usually confirmation of whatever it is you are engaged in at the moment. Many people who continually experience meaningful coincidences, acknowledge them to be a kind of personal guidance. The perfect timing arrivals by the right person at the right place is commonly regarded as providential. They are paths our lives may take into the future and by which our personal destinies evolve. People who accept synchronicities as guidance embrace “the authentic life,” which is following our own truth, regardless of the consequences. This is the high destiny that the ancient Greeks called moira which is offered to every human. All synchronicities are indeed signs pointing us in a specific direction at the most opportune moment.

Synchronicity happens to everyone but the person far best qualified to comprehend them is the one whom they occur to. They are personal gifts from a great, caring intelligence responsible for the destiny of the universe. The full appreciation of synchronicity is nothing less than our personal connection with the higher intelligence of the universe. Synchronicities can be seen as little miracles through which an unseen and non-forceful consciousness manifests itself into our lives.

Synchronicities are events that happen when the universe is trying to tell you something, just as a signpost or mile marker would give you information while traveling in a car. Amazing situations happen when your inner awareness changes. Your energetic thoughts and intents and direction of interests and desires will align with all the natural vibrations around you coalescing into a harmony of vibrational relationships.


The Universe is always willing and waiting to show you something wonderful. Synchronicities bring to light information for your waking consciousness along with your sub/unconscious aspects of your selves gently guiding and directing you to what is in alignment with your own personal growth. Synchronicities whisper into your soul a hint for you to watch and wait. "Expect the unexpected!"

What Does It Mean to Seek the Lord?

The great promise to those who seek the Lord is that he will be found. “If you seek him, he will be found by you” (1 Chronicles 28:9). And when he is found, there is great reward. “Whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). God himself is our greatest reward. Ignorance speaking

This video made me mad.
The makers of this video twist tales to breed fear and hatred.
I thought about ranting about it on the video site but instead chose to post it here.

Each one of us is first a spiritual being.
We are spiritual beings made in the image of God having a human "skin on" experience.
Sadly most of us are really unaware and out of touch with our true spiritual nature.
Dogma has managed to keep us all in line and out of touch with this touch stone.

When someone calls on spiritual help the spirits they attract are "like minded" to them.
If one is in a higher more realized spiritual state then they are assured to attract the energy of other spirits with higher vibrations whether the spiritual being has "skin on" or not. Hearing someone talk about Spirits may be spooky to another if they have not developed their innate spiritual abilities. There is so much more to life than we can see with our eyes. When one awakens to this realm, one's world expands in wondrous ways. Not scary at all. Actually it's very comforting. It's the unknown that's always the scariest in life.

Rest assured of this: Spirits are not the enemy. Not bad, evil or demonic.
That's just plain ignorance speaking.
